Childcare
Management Solutions (CMS) believes
that academic success can only be achieved through literacy
success. Furthermore
we believe that literacy begins at infancy and that in some
cases the child, parent(s), and caregiver must understand the
consequences of preparing a rich literate environment without
devaluing the socio-cultural aspects of family and community. CMS
has received a training grant from Maryland Committee for
Children to meet the needs of children in our community.
This upcoming literacy project,
“Establishing
a Literacy Rich Environment”
will
include theory and hands-on projects.
All classes, materials, lunch, and
Continental
breakfast are FREE. A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee will be charged (must be paid
in full). Participants can earn *40 clock hours towards Core of
Knowledge Maryland Credentialing upon successful completion of
the class. Participants
must attend all 8 class dates in this exciting series.
